Same market items. Prices are ridiculously high. Lost my faith in the ole staple. Other markets and orchards in area are much lower. Used to visit weekly. Couldn't afford it. When apple prices skyrocketed, I was done. Acme sells produce from Colora Orchards in Maryland. Excellent.
Mostly known for its activities during the Autumn season, it is a nice place to take the children for simple activities at a low cost. HINT: If you want to feed the animals, get there early when they are hungry and before they get fed by others :) It also has a nice food shop to buy some goods not readily available at typical grocery stores.
Apple cider donuts are excellent (just don't try to reheat them). Great variety of apples and other products like jams and cider. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends but they have plenty of parking.
What a terrific family place. In season you can enjoy picking your own apples, go on a hayride or just stop in for coffee and a delicious apple cider donut. During the holiday season be sure to pick up a quart or half-gallon of the best eggnog ever!
This orchard is a great place to take your little ones. They have a lot of fun activities to do. Plus you can pick your own apples or grapes during certain times of the season. They even have a market to purchase many delicious treats. I especially loved the dounts. This place is definitely worth checking out.
