Good alternative to Home depot and Lowes
This is a big hardware store in a small town. They always have what I need, including a few small items that I needed on the day that I moved to Elkton and I didn't have time to find and drive to one of the big chain stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. One thing that's not so good is the lack of parking. Still, I give 5 stars!

I always liked the old brick hardware store on Main Street but, even with the new ugly facade, they still stock building supplies along with lawn & garden and home supplies. The difference is that someone will help you find what you need if you're wandering. It's my take that they tend to feature higher quality product lines than big box stores. The one negative is driving around the lumber yard and storage sheds. It only takes one nail in a tire... I park in front for tools and paint but lumber or mulch you gotta go back there.
