Clean rooms, nice sheets. Complimentary 5 star (in my opinion) breakfast. Polite staff always eager to please. Nice indoor pool and elegant seating area.
I'll start with the good - this is a very nicely renovated property, definitely top 25% of HIE's. Very clean. Comfy beds. Fitness center was decent. Typical breakfast. Would give 3.5 if possible and would have been 4.5 stars if not for issues with my reservation and the customer service person at night. However, the morning manager (Karen) was incredibly receptive of my complaints and resolved all of them satisfactorily. Would definitely give this hotel another chance at a 4 or 5 star rating.

I stay at this hotel at least once a year when I visit family. It's clean and the staff is super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I've tried other hotels in the area, just to make sure that I was making the right choice, and I certainly am.
This is an excellent hotel. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 just because it seems to be s distance from any well known places/ attractions. Extremely well maintained, clean, professional and courteous staff spacious rooms with an indoor pool, gym, and free breakfast buffet. I've stayed in another hotel in Wilmington/Newark and the experience was 0 stars out of 5, 10, 20, or 100 if you want to use those ratings. However, Holiday Inn express is one I'll be looking for whenever I travel.
